Verification needs nothing from Vitrified

A Vitrified proof bundle contains everything required to verify it offline: the leaf hash, the Merkle path to the batch root, the batch root, each mechanism’s witness record, and the trust roots the verifier needs. The bundle verifies against the public trust infrastructure of each mechanism using that mechanism’s standard reference tooling. Once you hold the bundle, Vitrified can disappear and the proof remains good.

Open-source verifiers across every runtime

• Python SDK — verify_bundle() via @vitrified/sdk (Python).
• JavaScript / TypeScript SDK — verifyBundle() via @vitrified/sdk (Node 24, isomorphic where possible).
• Verifier CLI — vitrified verify ./bundle.json, offline-capable.
• Browser library — @vitrified/verifier-web, the same code that powers verify.vitrified.glass.
• MCP server — verify_bundle tool exposed to any MCP-capable agent.
• Reference tooling per mechanism — cosign verify, rekor-cli, openssl ts -verify, ots, eas-verify, dsse-verify, EU DSS validator.

The verifier libraries are developed in this repository and are open-sourced ahead of any external launch — same algorithm, same verdict, byte-identical across implementations. Algorithm parity is enforced by cross-implementation test vectors.

Data portability

You have full programmatic access to every attestation, every metadata record, every proof bundle, and every audit log entry from day one. Common export formats are first-class outputs; continuous sync to customer-controlled destinations (S3, GCS, Azure Blob, a git repository) is available so your attestation history is mirrored where you want it without manual export.

A documented wind-down plan

Vitrified publishes a wind-down plan as part of the trust documentation: how customers retrieve their data, how the public trust roots remain published, and how previously issued bundles continue to verify against public infrastructure after any Vitrified discontinuation. The plan is part of the contract, not a promise.
